Control-M for Azure Batch Accounts

Azure Batch Accounts enables you to execute large-scale, parallel, host-intensive tasks in the cloud.

Control-M for Azure Batch Accounts enables you to do the following:

  • Execute Azure Batch Account jobs and add job logs to the output.

  • Manage Azure Batch Accounts credentials in a secure connection profile.

  • Connect to any Azure Batch Accounts endpoint.

  • Introduce all Control-M capabilities to Control-M for Azure Batch Accounts, including advanced scheduling criteria, complex dependencies, resource pools, lock resources, and variables.

  • Integrate Azure Batch Accounts jobs with other Control-M jobs into a single scheduling environment.

  • Monitor the status, results, and output of Azure Batch Accounts jobs.

  • Attach an SLA job to the Azure Batch Accounts jobs.

  • Run 100 Azure Batch Accounts jobs simultaneously per Agent.

Setting up Control-M for Azure Batch Accounts

This procedure describes how to deploy the Azure Batch Accounts plug-in, create a connection profile, and define an Azure Batch Accounts job in Control-M SaaS and Automation API.

Before You Begin

  1. Do one of the following:

    • Install: Run one of the following provision image commands:

      • Linux: ctm provision image ZBA_plugin.Linux

      • Windows: ctm provision image ZBA_plugin.Windows

    • Upgrade: Run the following command:

      ctm provision agent::update

  2. Create an Azure Batch Accounts connection profile in Control-M SaaS or Automation API, as follows:
