Control-M AI Pilot for Monitoring

Control-M AI Pilot for Monitoring is an AI-powered tool that enables you to analyze workflows and jobs directly from the Monitoring domain to troubleshoot issues. Control-M AI Pilot for Monitoring generates an analysis based on the job output, logs, job definition, and host status.

Control-M AI Pilot displays the following information:

Cause of a job status that is Not OK or Wait Host
Recommendations for preventative or corrective actions
Analysis of job output, logs, and host status
Description and analysis of a single workflow and its jobs in a viewpoint

Generating Job Status Analysis with Control-M AI Pilot

This procedure describes how to generate a job status analysis from a viewpoint with Control-M AI Pilot.

Before You Begin

Verify that the following AI Feature Settings are toggled on in System Settings:
- Enable AI Features
- AI Preview Features

Begin

Open the viewpoint.
Select the relevant job with the status Not OK or Wait Host.
Right-click the job and click AI Pilot Analysis.
Click Job Status Analysis.

The Control-M AI Pilot pane appears with an analysis of why the job finished Not OK or Wait Host.

Generating Workflow Analysis with Control-M AI Pilot

This procedure describes how to generate a workflow analysis from a viewpoint with Control-M AI Pilot.

Before You Begin

Verify that the following AI Feature Settings are toggled on in System Settings:
- Enable AI Features
- AI Preview Features

Begin

Open the viewpoint.
Select the job in the workflow that you want to monitor.
Right-click the job and click AI Pilot Analysis.
Click Workflow Analysis.

The Control-M AI Pilot pane appears with information about the workflow associated with the job.
