Control-M AI Execution Insights

Control M AI Execution Insights is an AI tool that generates reports based on recent job history. The tool gathers data from active jobs from the past four days, job change audits, and job action audits. It then creates reports that provide the insight needed for health checks, failure analysis, and performance monitoring. After Control M AI Execution Insights produces the report, you can also ask questions about its findings.

Control-M AI Execution Insights contains the following pre-defined template cards, which you can copy and adjust according to your requirements:

  • Daily Operations Snapshot (Yesterday): Provides a quick daily summary of activities from the previous day, including the number of job that ran, changes from the previous day, and anomalies or repeat issues that were detected. The analysis enables you to have a snapshot of workload health from the previous day, including jobs that ran runs, job status, top failures, job reruns, runtime and anomalies, with drilldowns to the exact jobs and runs.

  • Top Failure (Where & When): Shows where failures occur most often by application, host, and time of day. The analysis enables you to spot recurring patterns and to view the jobs, job runs, and their recent history.

  • Jobs That Ran Slower or Faster Than Usual: Highlights jobs that ran much slower or faster than their normal baseline. The analysis enables you to investigate performance issues, identify anomalies on the application, host, and timeframe, and detect the highest deviations.

  • Batch Throughput & Delay Insights: Identifies late starts, including queue buildup and concurrency peaks, that impact batch performance. The analysis enables you to identify potential bottlenecks.

  • Jobs That Keep Failing (Repeat Failures): Flags jobs that continuously fail over a timeframe. The analysis enables you to identify recurring problems to prevent disruptions to daily operations.
