Control-M for Azure AI Foundry

Azure AI Foundry is a unified Azure platform that builds, deploys, and manages AI applications and agents.

Control-M for Azure AI Foundry enables you to do the following:

Trigger Azure AI Foundry agent and model workflows.
Manage Azure AI Foundry credentials in a secure connection profile.
Connect to any Azure AI Foundry endpoint.
Introduce all Control-M capabilities to Control-M for Azure AI Foundry, including advanced scheduling criteria, complex dependencies, resource pools, lock resources, and variables.
Integrate Azure AI Foundry jobs with other Control-M jobs into a single scheduling environment.
Monitor the status, results, and output of Azure AI Foundry jobs.
Attach an SLA job to the Azure AI Foundry jobs.
Run 50 Azure AI Foundry jobs simultaneously per Agent.

Setting up Control-M for Azure AI Foundry

This procedure describes how to deploy the Azure AI Foundry plug-in, create a connection profile, and define an Azure AI Foundry job in Control-M SaaS and Automation API.

Before You Begin

Verify that Java is installed, as described in Control-M External Java Installation.
Verify that Automation API is installed, as described in Setting Up the API.
Verify that Agent version 9.0.21.080 or higher is installed.

Begin

Run one of the following provision image commands:
- Linux: ctm provision image Azure_AI_Foundry_plugin.Linux
- Windows: ctm provision image Azure_AI_Foundry_plugin.Windows
Create an Azure AI Foundry connection profile in Control-M SaaS or Automation API, as follows:
- Control-M SaaS: Create a Centralized Connection Profile with Azure AI Foundry Connection Profile Parameters
- Automation API: ConnectionProfile:Azure AI Foundry
Define an Azure AI Foundry job in Control-M SaaS or Automation API, as follows:
- Control-M SaaS: Create a Job with Azure AI Foundry Job parameters
- Automation API: Job:Azure AI Foundry
