Configuring the Control-D Delivery Server

This procedure describes how to configure the Control-D Delivery Server, which enables you to view all current running processes and to open a separate window for each process.

Begin

  1. From the Root directory, navigate to the following location:

    Definitions > Configurations > Delivery Server > DeliveryServer_CTD_Directory > Delivery Server

  2. From the Delivery Server folder, double-click General.

    The General window appears.

  3. For each field, define the required parameters, as described in General Parameters.

    The Control-D Delivery Server is configured.

  4. Restart the Control-D Delivery Server

General Parameters

Max time for retries

 

Determines the number of minutes to distribute reports before the Delivery Server restarts a process.

Valid values: 120−999999

Default: 120

Maximum retries to start a process

Determines the maximum number of attempts to distribute reports before the Delivery Server restarts a process.

Valid values: 1−2000

Default: 3

Open process in a separate window

 

Enables you to open a separate window for each process.

Valid values:

  • Yes

  • No

Default: Yes

(Windows only) This parameter is only applicable when you start Control D Delivery Server in the command line. You must enable the Allow service to interact with desktop service option, which appears in the LogOn tab on the Service Properties window when you start Delivery server as a Windows service.

Time to sleep between process checking

Determines the number of seconds before the Delivery Server checks processes.

Valid values: 20−9999999

Default: 20
