Control-D/Agent

Control-D/Agent manages the transfer of files and reports between distributed system computers, and the mainframe or other distributed systems. It runs the File Watcher, File Transfer Client, and File Transfer Server utilities to detect and transfer files.

The File Watcher utility continuously monitors predefined directories to identify newly arrived files, such as business reports, in the local file system. This utility activates the File Transfer Client and File Transfer Server to do the file transfer when it detects new files in a local files system, or Control-D Mainframe repository. You can also encrypt files to transfer, as discussed in Control-D/Agent SSL Configuration.
