Control-D Delivery Server
Control-D Delivery Server manages the distribution of reports from the Control-D Mainframe to multiple destinations. The Control-D Delivery Server stores each distribution job within the file system and loads the delivery details into the distribution queue and organizes delivery jobs according to queue type and associated delivery specifications. Additionally, Control-D Delivery Server converts reports into various formats, such as XEROX to PDF, before transmitting them to designated destinations.
Control-D Delivery Server retrieves delivery requests from the delivery queues in the Control-D Mainframe repository b band distributes copies of the report files to various destinations, such as emails, printers, and file systems. You can oversee and control the distributions queues with the Distribution Monitor, which enables you to inspect and adjust distribution job priorities and statuses, identify errors, and initiate the retransmission of failed jobs.
The Distribution Monitor regularly synchronizes distribution jobs with the distribution repository, which refreshes status information related to active distribution jobs in progress, such as Failed, Ended_OK, and Pending.
