The single-character abbreviations that appear in parentheses above for each parameter are used on the Workload Policies List screen.
Parameter values can include mask characters. An asterisk (*) represents any number (including 0) of characters. A question mark (?) represents a single character.
To specify multiple values for any of these parameters (with an implied OR operator between the values), use the comma (,) character. Do not include blanks in the list of values.
An implied AND logical operator connects between the different parameters. All jobs in production that share the specified combination of job attributes will be associated with the Workload Policy.
Note that a single job may satisfy the filter criteria of multiple Workload Policies. Such jobs are submitted only after all the limitations of all the applicable Workload Policies are met.
The list of Workload Policies applicable for a specific job can be viewed in the Zoom screen (3.Z), as displayed through the GLOBAL WORKLOADS and LOCAL WORKLOADS fields on that screen. In addition, if a job is in WAIT SCHEDULE status due to a workload limitation, policy details are provided on the Why screen (3.?), which you can access through the Active Environment screen.
