The GROUP parameter identifies a group name of 1 through 20 characters. Only trailing blanks are allowed.
In a table whose jobs are scheduled individually, the GROUP parameter is optional. The same value does not have to be specified for all jobs in the table.
In a SMART Table, only jobs whose GROUP name is blank, inherit the GROUP name specified in the SMART Table Entity. Jobs with a GROUP name specified will not inherit the GROUP name specified in the SMART Table Entity.
