Activating or inactivating a local Workload Policy

This procedure describes how to activate or inactivate an existing local Workload Policy.

To activate or inactivate a Workload Policy:

  1. On the IOA Primary Option menu, select option W.

    The Workload Management Entry Panel is displayed. For more information about this screen, see Workload Management Entry Panel.

  2. Specify option WL (locally-managed Workload Policies), and press Enter.

    The Control-M Local Workload Policies List screen is displayed. For more information about this screen, see Workload Policies List screen for Local Workload Policies.

  3. In the OPT field next to the relevant Workload Policy, type one of the following options:

    Tip: You can obtain status information about active Workload Policies using the WLLIST operator command. For more information, see Displaying the status of active Workload Policies in the INCONTROL for z/OS Administrator Guide.
