This step is used to set the password for Control‑D/Page On Demand. If Control‑D/Page On Demand is not to be installed at your site, skip both this step and Step 13.6 – Security considerations.

Verify that Step 20 – Install IOAGATE (optional) has been performed. Verify that step Step 13.4 – Start Page On Demand (optional) has been performed.

Follow the instructions in Step 13.2 – Control-D password data to specify passwords for Control‑D.

The PASPOD member in the IOA.PARM library must be updated with the password data from the printouts provided by the BMC representative.

Verify that the PROD parameter contains the name Control‑D‑POD and that its expiration date is in yymmdd format.
