Control‑D can be installed without setting up special security requirements, except as noted in this section for RACF, ACF2, and TOP SECRET. After Control‑D is installed, it is possible to set up basic security parameters to allow a basic testing environment during the first stages of product testing. For more details, see Step 14 – Control-D customization.

In addition, define the following started tasks as valid started tasks to the security product installed at your site:

• CONTROLD
• CTDNDAY
• CTDPRINT (and any other Printers Control monitors)
• IOAOMON1 (and any other online monitor)
• Other similar started tasks.
