Step 13.4 – Start Page On Demand (optional)

If Control‑D/Page On Demand is not installed at your site, skip this step.

Before starting Control‑D/Page On Demand processing, verify that IOAGATE was installed, as described in Step 20 – Install IOAGATE (optional).

Activate the IOA Gateway using the following operator command:

S IOAGATE

It is possible to override ECAPARM communication parameters such as APPLIDS and PORT with parameters specified in the EXEC PARM of IOAGATE.

S IOAGATE,PORT=2525'

The Control‑D Application Server (called IOAAS) is automatically activated by the IOA Gateway.

To deactivate the IOA Gateway, enter the following operator command:

P IOAGATE

This command deactivates the Control‑D Application Server (IOAAS) as well.

Control‑D/WebAccess Server users can now proceed to use Control‑D/Page On Demand. For information on how to activate Control‑D/WebAccess Server, see the Control‑D/WebAccess Server User Guide.
