Creating a Job Definition template for Store jobs

This procedure describes how to create a Job Definition template that is used for Store jobs. Store jobs are spawned by Delete jobs.

To create a Job Definition template for Store jobs:

  1. From the Job Type list, select SAP R3.
  2. From the Connection Profile field, click Browse_new.

    The Connection Profile Selection dialog box appears.

  3. From the Action drop-down list, select Run a pre-defined SAP job.
  4. In the Host/Host Group field, specify the name of the Control-M/Agent on which you want to define and run jobs.
  5. Define the parameters for the job definition template for Store jobs as appropriate. For more information, see: SAP Data Archiving parameters.
  6. Click Save As Template.

    The Store job definition is saved as a template for further SAP Data Archiving job definitions.
