Creating Data Archiving Write jobs

The following procedures describe how to create a job definition for a data archiving write job.

Before you begin

Ensure that you have met the following requirements:

To create Data Archiving Write jobs:

  1. From the Connection Profile field, click Browse_new.

    The Connection Profile Selection dialog box appears.

  2. Select the connection profile that you want to use, and click OK.
  3. From the Action drop-down list, select Write job.
  4. For each field, type or select the required value, as described in SAP Data Archiving parameters.
  5. For a description of all Print parameters, see Printer parameters.

    Continue to define the job, as described in Using Control-M Workload Automation.
