This procedure describes how to define a Control-M for Informatica job, which enables you to run Informatica jobs and reports on an Informatica server.
Before You Begin
Ensure that you have met the following requirements:
The Select Connection ProfileSelection dialog box appears.
Select the connection profile that you want to use to run an Informatica job, and click OK.
The Connection Profile field is set.
From the Repository Folder field, click .
The Selector dialog box appears.
Select the Repository folder that contains the workflow you want to run, and click OK.
From the Workflow field, click .
The Selector dialog box appears.
Select a workflow that you want to run, and click OK.
In the Instance Name field, type the specific instance of the workflow that you want to run.
In the Run options area, select one of the following:
Run the whole workflow
Start from task
Run single task
NOTE:
If you want to determine the number of levels within the workflow task hierarchy that is used to select workflow tasks, click Depth and select the number of levels.
The Informatica server only displays Session and Worklet task types.
Click Informatica - More and do one or more of the following (optional):
If you want to include the workflow event log in the job output, select Include workflow event log in job output.
If you want to include a detailed error log for a workflow that failed, select Include detailed error log for failed sessions.
If you want to see session statistics and logs for each Informatica task from the last executed job, click Get session statistics and log.
The Informatica server only displays Session and Worklet task types.
In the Suspended Workflow area, select one of the following (Rerun only):
Recover suspended workflow: Restarts suspended workflow from point of failure
Force restart of suspended workflow: Stops the suspended workflow and starts a new instance of the same workflow from the beginning
Force restart of suspended workflow from a specific task: Stops the suspended workflow and starts a new instance of the same workflow from a specific task
The Informatica server only displays Session and Worklet task types.
If you have a Workflow parameter file, in the Workflow parameters file field, type the name of the file.
This enables you to use the same workflow for different actions.
