Control-M for Informatica is an application plug-in that connects to an Informatica server and enables you to define jobs that extract data from various systems, transform the data into various different outputs, and loads the data to specific locations, as described in Defining a Control-M for Informatica job.
Control-M for Informatica jobs are integrated with other Control-M jobs into a single scheduling environment. Control-M capabilities are available for Control-M for Informatica, including advanced scheduling criteria, complex dependencies, quantitative and control resources, and variables.
To access the Informatica form, see Accessing the Informatica job properties pane.
Job definition parameters in Control-M for Informatica enable you to set values for the variables, as described in the Using Workload Automation. For a list of Control-M for Informatica parameters, see Control-M for Informatica parameters.
NOTE: The output contains the workflow log and the failed sessions' logs only. For Abort actions, Control-M for Informatica shows the information that exists in Informatica system logs. If your Informatica system is configured to error level and not info level, you will not see those messages.
