FTP over SSL/TLS configuration

To configure your support for FTP over SSL/TLS, you must do the following if you want to define jobs with Control-M for AFT via an FTP over SSL/TLS server.

• SSL Security levels: Describes how to define your security level on UNIX and Windows
• Certification: Describes how to configure Control-M for AFT for server and client authentication
• Changing the AFT key database password: Describes how to change the key database password from the default password that is configured with Control-M for AFT to a more secure password

  NOTE: If your FTP over SSL/TLS server does not require any authentication, you can use Control-M for AFT without any further configuration. If you want to authenticate the identity of the server, set your security level to Level 3. Otherwise, you must set your security level to Level 4. To do this, follow the procedure described in SSL Security levels and then proceed directly to Certification.
