Certification

A certificate is a string or a file that is used to authenticate a connection between a client and server. You need to configure Control-M for AFT to work server authentication, client authentication, or both, depending on your environment.

The following procedures describe how to configure Control-M for AFT for server and client configuration

If you want to authenticate the identity of the server and the server to authenticate the client, you must complete both procedures.

NOTE: All commands described in the following procedures are written for UNIX users. Users of Microsoft Windows must ensure that when following these commands, all occurrences of a foreslash ("/") are changed to a backslash ("\").

NOTE:When using the sslcmd utility to configure the SSL/TSL environment, you must use an explicit path as directed in the procedure. You must not use the sslcmd utility provided with Control-M/Agent.
