Host Name

Determines the hostname of the computer that will deploy the software package.

Port Number

Determines the port number of the web server that the hostname connects to deploy the software package.

If you are using Control-M Web Server, ensure that the default ports (18080 and 8005) are available.

Instance

Defines the instance name of the package.

You cannot use the \ / : * ? < >| and blank characters.

Description

Describes the contents or purpose of the package.

You cannot use the " : < > ( ) & characters.

User defined certificate data

Enables you to define certificate data from a security product

File

Defines the filename of the certificate.

If you do not provide certificate data, the end user receives the following message when deploying updates for the first time:

Publisher: publisher unknown

This does not affect Web Launch package deployment.

Password

Defines the password of the certificate.
