The Job Submission Substitution facility enables you to replace all submitted jobs with dummy or alternate jobs for testing purposes. When jobs are replaced, the post-processing statements DO MAIL, DO REMEDY, and DO REMFORCE are skipped, and you can choose whether to skip the DO SHOUT statement.
To ensure that you have full control over which jobs are substituted and which are not substituted, you can exclude specific jobs from the Substitution process.
To enable Job Submission Substitution, set the JOBSUBST parameter in the SUBMIT section of CTMPARM, as discussed in Submitter subtask section in the INCONTROL for z/OS Installation Guide: Customizing.
