Because Control‑M/Tape is installed in only one IOA environment, only one CTTPARM member is used by Control‑M/Tape. It is therefore required that the number inserted in the SVCNUM Control‑M/Tape installation parameter be an SVC number that is not used by any of the systems that share Control‑M/Tape.

If you choose to use the static method to install Control-M/Tape, repeat the MVS Tape Label Processing exits step and the SVC installation step for all the systems sharing Control-M/Tape. For more information, see Step 6 – Control-M/Tape SVC installation, and Step 7 – MVS Tape Label Processing Exits installation.

To activate the Control‑M/Tape Real-time environment, start the CTTINIT procedure in every system.

Note: Do not remove the IOA LOAD library from the STEPLIB statement of the CTTINIT procedure even if the library is added to the Linklist.
