The CTTCENQ routine verifies the locking of the Control-M/Tape Media database from a multi-systems environment. The CTTCENQ member in the Control-M/Tape JCL library contains a job to initiate this routine. Use the following steps to perform the test:
Submit the CTTCENQ job in all systems that shared the same Media database.
Wait for a WTOR to be issued on all systems, prompting whether to start the test.
Only after the WTOR has been issued on all systems, reply Y for the WTOR in all systems.
Wait for a WTOR to be issued on all systems, providing end-of-test information.
Only after the WTOR has been issued on all systems, reply C for the WTOR in all systems.
Look for the CTTCENQ message, which indicates whether the locking of the Media database has been defined correctly.
