Media database: Index component

The size of the index component of the Media Database is determined by the calculated values, that is, the number of blocks and the actual block size. These are stored in the CTTMDBI member of the IOA INSTWORK library.

The space requirements are automatically calculated based on the values you specify in the Control‑M/Tape Media Database Space Calculation screen. (Since Control-M/Tape does not support extents to the index file, some calculated information (identified in the following table by ***) may be blank.)
