Media database: Data component

The size of the data component of the Media Database is determined by the calculated values, that is, the number of blocks and the actual block size. These are stored in the CTTMDBD member of the IOA INSTWORK library. The structure of this database member definition is described in the IOADBF utility section of the INCONTROL for z/OS Utilities Guide.

The following space requirements are automatically calculated based on the values you specify in the Control‑M/Tape Media Database Space Calculation screen.
