Parameter

Description

MDBWARN

Detects when the Control‑M/Tape Media Database or the Stacking Database is utilized beyond the specified percent and issues warning messages. For example, if MDBWARN is set to 90, warning messages are issued after the Control‑M/Tape Media Database has used more than 90 percent of its allocated space.

If the Media Database becomes completely full, Control‑M/Tape stops all processing.

  • Mandatory
  • Valid values: must be numeric, 0 through 99
  • Default: 90 (percent)

TRCWARN

Detects when the Control‑M/Tape Trace file is utilized beyond the specified percent and issues warning messages. For example, if TRCWARN is set to 80, warning messages are issued after the Control‑M/Tape Trace file has used more than 80 percent of its allocated space.

If the Trace file becomes completely full, Control‑M/Tape stops all processing.

  • Mandatory
  • Valid values: must be numeric, 0 through 99
  • Default: 80 (percent)

    Note: If a warning message is issued, the CTTTRB job in the Control‑M/Tape JCL library must be run in order to back up the Media Database.
