Verify that the CDAM subsystem is initialized. To initialize it, use the following operator command:

S IOASINIT,OPTIONS=D

Note: OPTIONS=D is coded as the default in the supplied copy of the IOASINIT procedure.

Start Control‑D by issuing the following operator command:

S CONTROLD

If the IOA Online monitor is installed and active, issue the following operator command:

P IOAOMON1

The IOA Online monitor is used to access the IOA Online facility from CICS, IMS/DC, VTAM, IDMS/DC, COM‑PLETE, and TSO or ROSCOE (Cross‑Memory facility). The operator command immediately terminates the sessions of all Online monitor users and prevents new users from accessing the Online facility. TSO and ROSCOE users who are not using the Cross‑Memory facility are not affected by this operator command.
