Using Control-M Scheduling Data – Summary

The advantage of invoking the Control‑D report decollating missions through Control‑M scheduling criteria is that the scheduling criteria only have to be defined once (under Control‑M). It is then unnecessary to update the scheduling criteria of Control‑D each time the criteria are updated in Control‑M. In addition, job orders under Control‑M can automatically place report decollating missions in the Control‑D Active Missions file.

The job scheduling information is managed by one source of data and control.
