The IOA and Control-O Global Variables database can be shared between Control-M, Control-O, online users, the Control-M application server, IOA APIs, and Control-O XAM. The Control-O or CMEM monitors using shared disks in non‑SYSPLEX environments and in the Coupling Facility in SYSPLEX, can share the Global Variables database. The global variables are loaded and held in memory, which is separate on each LPAR where Control-O or CMEM is being run.
