To define a new column for a variable database, specify option I (INSERT) next to the preceding column name in the List of Columns screen, and press Enter.
If you are defining a new column for a variable database that has not yet been populated, specify option I next to the blank column name in the List of Columns screen.
The IOA Column Definition screen is displayed. This screen enables you to define a new column to be added to the current variable database.

When defining a new column, values for fields CREATED, DATABASE and BY are automatically inserted and cannot be modified in this screen.

To add the column, specify the necessary information and press Enter.
To exit this screen without adding a column to the variable database, specify CAN (Cancel) in the COMMAND field of this screen and press Enter.
