Defining a Control-M for Oracle E-Business Suite job

This procedure describes how to define a Control-M for Oracle E-Business Suite job, which enables you to run OEBS jobs and reports on an OEBS server.

Before You Begin

Ensure that you have met the following requirements:

To define a Control-M for Oracle E-Business Suite job:

  1. From the Connection Profile field, click Load-AFT.

    The Connection Profile Selection dialog box appears.

  2. Select the connection profile that you want to use to run an OEBS job or report, and click OK.

    The Connection Profile field is set.

  3. In the User Name field, type the Oracle E-Business Suite user name.
  4. In the Responsibility field, type or click Load-AFT to select the Oracle E-Business Suite responsibility that has been pre-defined for the specified Oracle user.

    NOTE: The Responsibility list is dependent on the selected user. The Programs/Request Set lists are dependent on the responsibility selected.

  5. From the Submit area, select one of the following:
  6. (optional) If your OEBS application requires additional menus, select the Use Menu function checkbox.

    NOTE: Some OEBS applications may require additional menus, which enable you to restrict application functionality for authorized users.

  7. To add completion parameters, in the Upon Completion field, as described in Upon Completion parameters.
  8. Complete the Post Process Action parameters, as described in Post Process Actions.
  9. Complete the Profile parameters, as described in Control-M for Oracle E-Business Suite profiles.
  10. Select Increment date parameters each run checkbox, if you want to job parameters to increase on each run and type the date in the First run date field.
  11. Continue defining the job as described in see Using Control-M.
