Creating a Single Request

The following procedure describes how to create a Single Request.

Before you begin

Complete the procedure as described in Defining a Control-M for Oracle E-Business Suite job.

To create a Single Request:

  1. In the Program Name field, click Load-AFT to retrieve a list of Oracle programs available for the specified user and responsibility.
  2. The Program Name dialog box appears.

    NOTE: Program parameters are retrieved from the Oracle E-Business Suite.

  3. Select the Program Name and click OK.

    NOTE: If the program requires input parameters, the Request Parameters dialog box appears and complete the request parameters as required.

  4. In the Operating Unit field, click Load-AFT to find Operating Unit from the Oracle program.

    NOTE: When loading a program this field is only enabled when a program has an associated Operating Unit.

  5. If the Program requires input parameters, in the Parameters field, type the parameter or click Edit.

    For more information about editing parameters, see Editing Request or Request Set parameters.

  6. To validate parameters, select the Parameter Validation checkbox.
  7. (Optional) to change the default output language for the selected job click Load-AFT.

    The Language Dialog box appears.

  8. Select a Language from the list and click OK.
  9. In the Description field, type a text string, which is added to the program name in the Oracle E-Business Suite GUI.
  10. Continue with defining an OEBS job, as described in Defining a Control-M for Oracle E-Business Suite job.
