Creating a Request Set

The following procedure describes how to create a Request Set.

Before you begin

Complete the procedure as described in Defining a Control-M for Oracle E-Business Suite job.

To create a Request Set:

1. In the Request Set field, click to retrieve the Request Set list authorized to run by the specified user and responsibility.

   The Program Name dialog box appears.

2. Select a Program Name and click OK.

   The Program details are populated.

3. To validate parameters, select the Parameter Validation checkbox.
4. In the Operating Unit field, click to find Operating Unit from the Oracle program.

   NOTE: When loading a program this field is only enabled when a program has an associated Operating Unit.

5. If the Program requires input parameters click Edit. For more information, see: Editing Request or Request Set parameters.
6. (Optional) to change the default output language for the selected job click .

   The Language Dialog box appears.

7. Select a Language from the list and click OK.
8. Continue with defining an OEBS job, as described in Defining a Control-M for Oracle E-Business Suite job.
