A connection profile contains the connection parameters to a specified server, such as host name, port, user name, and password. By adding a connection profile to the Control-M Configuration Manager, you enable Control-M for Web Services users to connect to the required server with only the connection profile name. Users then can run a job without having to provide authentication details every time they connect to the relevant server.
The following procedures describe how to create, edit, delete, test, copy, and export a connection profile in the Control-M Configuration Manager.
