Editing a Control-M for Web Services connection profile

This procedure describes how to edit a Control-M for Web Services connection profile in the Control-M Configuration Manager.

To edit a Control-M for Web Services connection profile:

  1. From the Control-M Configuration Manager, select Control-M for Web Services, right-click and select Connection Profile Management.

    The Control-M for Web Services Connection Profile Management dialog box appears.

  2. Select the connection profile that you want to edit, and click .

    The Update <connection profile> Connection Profile dialog box appears.

  3. In the Update <connection profile> Connection Profile you can change the following settings:

    NOTE: To change proxy host, port, ignore list, HTTP authentication and CM port, see Modifying Control-M for Web Services connection profile settings.

  4. Review the connection profile details and click Test (optional).

    If the test completes successfully, the connection profile validates and you can now define a Web Services job, as described in Web Services job definition . If the test fails, review the error message and test it again.

    NOTE: If the Cannot send parameters to WS CM Extension error message appears, do the following:

    The connection profile is updated in the Control-M for Web Services Connection Profile Management dialog box.
