Copying a Control-M for Messaging connection profile

This procedure describes how to copy a Control-M for Messaging connection profile in the Control-M Configuration Manager, which enables you to create an additional connection profile using the parameters of an existing connection profile.

To copy a Control-M for Messaging connection profile:

1. From the Control-M Configuration Manager, select Control-M for Messaging, right-click and select Messaging Connection Profile Management.

   The Control-M for Messaging Connection Profile Management dialog box appears.

2. Select the connection profile that you want to copy, and click .

   The Copy <connection profile> Connection Profile dialog box appears.

3. In the Connection Profile Name field, enter a name for the new connection profile and click OK.

   If you want to change parameters to this connection profile, see Editing a Control-M for Java connection profile.

4. Click Test (optional).

   If the test completes successfully, the connection is validated and you can now define a Messaging job, as described in Defining a Control-M for Messaging job. If the test fails, review the error message and test it again.

5. Click OK.
