This procedure describes how to edit a Control-M for Java connection profile in the Control-M Configuration Manager.
To edit a Control-M for Java connection profile:
From the Control-M Configuration Manager, select Control-M for Java, right-click and select Connection Profile Management.
The Control-M for Java Connection Profile Management dialog box appears.
Select the connection profile that you want to edit, and click .
The Update <connection profile> Connection Profile dialog box appears.
In the Update <connection profile> Connection Profile you can change settings in the following tabs:
General: Enables you to edit the connection profile name.
Runtime Environment: Enables you to edit the JRE Home Path and to change runtime parameters by clicking Advanced Settings. For more information, see Advanced Runtime Parameters.
Application Server parameters: Enables you to edit the parameters needed to connect to the selected application server. For more information, see Application Server parameters.
EJB: Enables you to edit the .jar or .ear files and EJBs to invoke. Do the following:
To add .jar or ear files containing the EJBs click and then from the drop-down list select either Add EJB 2.x or Add EJB3.x.
Review the connection profile details and click Test (optional).
If the test completes successfully, the connection profile validates and you can now define a Java job, as described in Defining a Control-M for WJM job. If the test fails, review the error message and test it again.
Click OK.
The connection profile is updated in the Control-M for Java Connection Profile Management dialog box.
