Installation

Control-M for WJM can be installed on a Windows Control-M/Agent or on a UNIX Control-M/Agent. If Control-M for WJM (formerly Control-M Business Process Suite) version 6.3.02 is already installed, you must upgrade to version 8.0.00, as prompted by the installation wizard. Before performing an upgrade, you need to stop each application plug-in. For more information, see Shutting down Control-M for Web Services, Java, or Messaging.

Control-M for WJM 9.0.00 requires Java Runtime Environment version 1.8 and above.

NOTE: It is not possible to upgrade from version 6.3.02 to version 9.0.00.

If you have a previous version of Control-M for Web Services, Java, and Messaging, Control-M for WJM automatically detects and upgrades them during the installation process. If you have a previous version of Control-M Messaging API or Control-M Web Services API, Control-M for WJM automatically detects and upgrades them during the installation process.
