Copying a Control-M for Messaging API account

This topic describes how to copy an account in the Control-M Messaging API.

To copy an account:

1. Do one of the following:
   • Windows: From All Programs, highlight Control-M Web Services and Messaging API and click API for Messaging Account Management.
   • UNIX: Navigate to the installation directory, and run bin/ctmwsapiacc.

   The Control-M Messaging API - Messaging Account Management dialog box appears.

2. From the Control-M Messaging API - Messaging Account Management dialog box, highlight the account you want to create and do one of the following:
   • Click .
   • From the Edit menu, click Copy.

   A copy of the selected account appears.

3. In the Account Name field, type a new account name.

   NOTE: A new account is created based on the account that was originally copied.

5. (Optional) If you want to ensure the parameter values are correct, click Apply and then click Validate.
6. Click OK.
