Editing a Control-M Messaging API account

This topic describes how to edit an account in the Control-M Messaging API.

To edit an account:

1. Do one of the following:
   • Windows: From All Programs, highlight Control-M Web Services and Messaging API and click API for Messaging Account Management.
   • UNIX: Navigate to the installation directory, and run bin/ctmwsapiacc.

   The Control-M Messaging API - Account Management dialog box appears.

2. From the Control-M Messaging API - Account Management dialog box, highlight the account you want to edit and do one of the following:
   • Click .
   • From the Edit menu, click Update.
3. If you want to change parameters, see Creating a Control-M for Messaging API account.

   NOTE: If the account type is TIBCO do not run the test due to the limitation of the TIBCO browse API functionality.

4. (Optional) If you want to ensure the parameter values are correct, click Apply and then click Validate.
5. Click OK.
