Analyzing a service log

This procedure describes how to analyze a service log.

To analyze a service log:

  1. From Monitoring domain select Service Monitor.

    The Service Monitor appears.

  2. Select a service.

    The service analysis information appears on the right pane.

  3. To find the service log, select the Service Log tab.

    The log entries appear, as described in Service Log parameters.

  4. To view problematic jobs related to the service, do the following:
    1. Select a row, and click Prob_Jobs.

      The Problematic Jobs window appears.

    2. Click the Problematic Jobs tab. For more information on problematic jobs, see Problematic Jobs parameters.
  5. To view the Remedy tickets related to the service, do the following:
    1. Select a row, and click Prob_Jobs.

      The Problematic Jobs window appears.

    2. Click the Tickets tab.
