BMC Batch Impact Manager is provided with bim_ssl.ear or bim_ssl.war files, which are configured with a default SSL certificate.
NOTE: Unlike regular bim.ear and bim.war files, the bim_ssl.ear and bim_ssl.war files can only be used to communicate with an SSL-enabled Control-M/EM installation.
Unless you are using the Java IBM JDK, or your own private keys, all you need to do to access the web interface in an SSL-enabled environment, is to use the directory “bim_ssl” instead of “bim”:
