Starting the SQL database server using the startdb utility
This procedure describes how to start the SQL database server using the startdb utility.
The SQL database server can also be started using the Control-M/Server menu options.
Before you begin:
- The SQL Database Server must be started before Control-M/Server is started and must be active as long as Control-M/Server is active. Mandatory.
To start the SQL database server:
- Do one of the following:
- UNIX: Log on to a Control-M/Server account
- Windows: Open a command prompt window where Control-M/Server is installed.
- Type the following command:
startdb
