Overriding the load level of a Load-Index

This procedure describes how to manually override the load level of a Load-Index. The overridden level that you define takes effect in all relevant Workload Policies, to which the Load-Index is associated.

Note that the Load-Index continues to be monitored for actual values. When the override is released, Load-Index level is set to the current value based on current Load-Index threshold definitions.

To override the load level of a Load-Index

  1. On the Load-Indexes Status screen, in the OPT field next to the relevant Load-Index, type O and press Enter.
  2. In the Override Load-Index Level window, enter your input in the following fields:
  3. Press Enter.

The new level for the Load-Index appears in the LEVEL column, and (O) appears to the left of the level.
