How to exclude jobs from substitution

You can exclude specific jobs from the Substitution process, so that the original JCLs are submitted for those specific jobs. For example, you might want to exclude User Dailies that order jobs and not have such jobs replaced during the Substitution process.

To specify the jobs that you want to exclude from the Substitution process, you can include the following Exclusion statements after the Substitution statements:

• EXC-JOB — excludes jobs based on specified JCL library and member names.
• EXC-JCL — excludes jobs based on job definitions (scheduling library, table name, and job name).
