Workload Policy Management Security

To manage Workload Policies through the Workload Management Facility in Control-M, users must be authorized for the appropriate entity. The following table describes the Control-M Workload Policy Management security calls:

This protection is relevant only to locally managed Workload Policies and does not apply to globally managed Workload Policies.

qname is the name used to assign different authorizations to various IOA environments (such as Test and Production).

Update Workload Policy Filters

These filters define the combination of job attributes for jobs included in the Workload Policy.

Update Workload Policy Rules

$$CTMWKL.qname.policy-name

These rules control workload during specific periods of time (for example, limit usage of resources or limit number of concurrent jobs).

policy-name is the name of the Workload Policy. For all Workload Policies, you can use * (an asterisk).
