The ad-hoc maintenance process enables you to APPLY PTFs without having to perform an upgrade process, whether as a maintenance measure or a corrective measure.
Note: After a successful ad-hoc maintenance, if you have multiple IOA environments at the same INCONTROL software level that are non-SMP/E- managed and have no ICE, you can perform a Multisystem Upgrade to update all those IOA environments.
