Check and adjust the text report you created.

Checking the Text Report

When creating the text report, Control-V superimposes a grid on the original bitmap image of the report based on the settings for the Report Clique Number of Rows and Number of Columns parameters (see Control-D Report Clique Definition Screen). The character in each cell in the grid is used to create the contents of the text report.

The size of the cells in the grid can affect the contents of the outputted text report. You should compare the text report against either the printed report or the version you view using Control-D/WebAccess to ensure that no characters required for the decollation were lost.

The following are some problems with the grid cell sizes that may affect the text report output:

Adjusting the Text Version

If required characters are missing from the text version of the report, you need to resize the grid by increasing the Number of Rows and Number of Columns parameters in the Report Clique. Optimally, these numbers should be just large enough to hold one character of the smallest font that you use in the decollation definition.
