The Control-V migration process migrates CDAM datasets to various storage media (optical disk, cartridge, DASD, and so on). CDAM datasets migrated by a "primary" migration mission can be viewed and/or printed using Control-V online viewing functions. The IOA Archive server is used to access migrated CDAM datasets for online viewing and immediate printing.
Note: The IOA Archive server is not required for viewing or printing CDAM datasets which migrated to DASD.
