STAGE

Migration stage number from 01 through 10. The value is inserted automatically. Migration stages are specified in numerical order. If you specify anything in this field, it changes automatically to the correct number.

PRIMARY MEDIA

Name of the target media for the primary migration mission. This name must be one of the names specified in installation parameter MEDIA NAME in the IOASPRM member. Mandatory.

AGE

Age of the report in days when migration should occur. The value specified for each stage must be larger than the value in parameter AGE plus the value (if any) in parameter REFRESH for the preceding stage. The specified value must be less than the value in parameter RETENTION DAYS. Mandatory.

REFRESH

Cyclic time interval in days for triggering refresh operations that copy migration reports and their indexes to a new target physical media of the same type. Optional.

CTLG

Determines whether the migrated CDAM and Index files are cataloged. Optional. Valid values are:

• Y (Yes) – The migrated files are cataloged. Default.
• N (No) – The migrated files are not cataloged. You can only use this option for CART media.

PREFIX

Prefix of the volume or platter to which files are migrated. This parameter is only displayed when parameter MEDIA is set to a value assigned to media type DASD or OSS. Optional.

FSET

File set of the storage machine to be used for the migration mission. This parameter is only displayed when MEDIA is set to a value assigned to media type FTK. If not specified, the FileTek storage machine default is used. Optional.

VSET

Volume set of the storage machine to be used for the migration mission. This parameter is only displayed when MEDIA is set to a value assigned to media type FTK. If not specified, the FileTek storage machine default is used. Optional.

SECONDARY MEDIA

Name of the target media for the secondary migration mission. This name must be one of the names specified in installation parameter MEDIA NAME in the IOASPRM member. Optional.
